This dwarf chaste-tree is good for perennial gardens and mixed borders. In milder climates it will be a small tree or shrub; in colder climates it behaves more like a perennial and will often die back to the ground. It has interesting texture, and brings cool blue color to summer gardens with its spikes of lavender-blue flowers.
