For best fruiting, plant near another variety of Viburnum dentatum. Chicago Lustre® is a good choice. Prune immediately after flowering; leave the flower clusters intact for fruit production.
A compact selection of arrowwod viburnum with glossy leaves and intense blue fruit in late summer. It makes a great hedge and is a good size for residential landscapes. This is a very durable native plant that tolerates a wide range of conditions including clay soils and black walnut.
