Plant Care
Light: Has the healthiest foliage and flowers most prolifically in sites with part sun – all day dappled light or morning sun with afternoon shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic soils that stay evenly moist, but with good drainage.
Water: Likes to be kept on the moist side, but not soggy.
Fertilizing: Apply compost to the soil surface every season, all azaleas benefit from high organic matter.
Pruning: Pruning isn’t necessary, but if you’d like to increase the abundance of rebloom you can trim it just after its big spring bloom. This encourages new growth, which will bloom more prolifically.
Other: Has shown improved lacebug resistance.
