Plant Care

Soil: Any average, well-drained soil will do. Tolerates poor and urban soils.

Water: Average water needs. Drought tolerant once established.

Fertilizer: Nothing special needed. If desired, apply a granular rose fertilizer in early spring; this may be continued monthly through late July if you want faster growth.

Pruning: Prune back by about half its total height in late winter/early spring. Remove the oldest, thickest stems every 4-5 years to encourage vigorous young growth.
