Reminiscent® Coral Rose

Reminiscent® roses represent a new day for rose lovers, combining the classic beauty and fragrance of old-fashioned roses with modern-day performance. They were developed in Serbia by a breeding team that is devoted to bringing out the best in color, fragrance, petal count, and flower power. Available in North America for the very first time, Reminiscent® roses will be the roses everyone’s looking for at their local garden center.

Reminiscent® Coral rose boasts blousy, bowl-shaped flowers with deep pink-coral tones and an appealing copper center. Dark green foliage accents the flowers and stays clean and healthy through the season. Deadheading is not required for continuous blooms.

Plant Care

Light: Thrives in full sun. When planted in an area that gets less than six hours of direct sun each day, it will not flower as prolifically.

Soil: Prefers moist soil that drains easily. Any period of extended sogginess will not be tolerated. In terms of pH, it prefers either neutral or acidic soils over basic soils.

Water: Average water needs. Be sure to water from below when possible.

Fertilizing: Apply a granular rose fertilizer in late winter/early spring when the soil is workable and again in late spring to give the plant a boost for rebloom.

Pruning: Pruning is recommended in early spring. Remove weak branches in the middle and about 1/3 of the height and width. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time, just cut back to a set of leaves.

Other: It can be used as a cut flower! For its longest vase life, cut vertically up the stem about 2″. This will help it absorb more water.
