Prefers moist, fertile soils. As plants mature, they may need to be thinned: prune out old branches in late winter or early spring. Do not remove more than 25% of a bush in any year as the plant flowers on old wood.
Yezberry® Solo™ Japanese Haskap
A very cold hardy and adaptable orchard plant that makes it easy for homeowners to grow their own berries. L. caerulea is native to the boreal regions of North America and Eurasia and is well-adapted to cold climates. Yezberry™ varieties were bred from pure Japanese strains and produce exceptional yields of very sweet fruit in summer. Yezberry® Solo™ is a special selection that fruits very well without a pollinator; however, you will get even larger fruit and bigger yields when planted near another Yexberry™ variety. It has very large fruit that are easy to harvest.
