Plant Care
Prefers moist, fertile soils. As plants mature, they may need to be thinned: prune out old branches in late winter or early spring. Do not remove more than 25% of a bush in any year as the plant flowers on old wood.
The most dwarf variety of Japanese haskap! Yezberry Sugar Pie® is the smallest variety of Japanese haskap yet, reaching just 3-4′ tall. It grows with a neat, rounded habit with no pruning required. One of the first plants to bloom in spring, yellow honeysuckle-like flowers become elongated blue berries that are delicious fresh or processed. Plant near another Yezberry® variety to ensure an abundant yield on both plants.
